Safe Haven Of Faith Worship Center
Bishop Todd D. Saunders
Bishop Todd was born on April 26, 1978, to Rev. Robert & Rev. Donna Saunders. He's a product of the Philadelphia school system. Being raised in the church, he was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at a young age.
Todd was initiated as a Minister in 1996, even though his life held true to the stereotype of a Preacher's Kid. He accepted the title, but not the title. In 1997, he married his high school sweetheart, Ton'ja. He continued to live a destructive life until the birth of their daughter changed his life. Being addicted to witchcraft and various other vices, the road back to the Lord was not an easy one. But by God's grace and mercy, in 2000, he graciously accepted the title of Elder and Youth Pastor of Crusaders For Christ Missionary Ministries.
Todd also known as "The Prophet" has likewise embraced his talent for bringing the Word of God in a different way, through gospel rap. He deputed his first CD, independently, called "Old Things Are Passed Away" in 2005. "Pavin' The Road", also independent, was released in 2010. He's been in a number of gospel competitions and shows and has also appeared on a broadcast television show, "Fitness for Christ".
In 2007, after a host of family tragedies, Crusaders For Christ was placed into his hands. A few years later he handed the church back into the hands of Rev. Donna Saunders. In 2011, he was ordained Pastor of Crusaders For Christ and on to Sr. Pastor in 2014. Soon after Todd heeded the call to branch out and start the work that God laid to his hands. God had already given him the vision, thus began Safe Haven Of Faith Worship Center. Bishop Todd was elevated to the office of Bishop in July of 2016.

In 1995, she started going out with her future husband, Todd Saunders. He introduced her to a new life in God. Still reluctant to leave True Vine, she visited Crusaders For Christ Missionary Ministries often, tarried and received the gift of the Holy Ghost and eventually got re-baptized in 1996 and joined Crusaders.
Soon she was working fully in the church. She has been an usher, youth leader, bible study teacher, administrator, church secretary, praise and worship leader, the Pastor's valet, drill team instructor and childrens choir director, to name a few.
Ton'ja has been ordained a Missionary and Evangelist and in 2009 she was ordained Co Pastor of Crusaders For Christ Missionary Ministries. In January of 2017 she was elevated to the position of Pastor of Safe Haven of Faith Worship Center. She has vowed to support and assist her husband in what ever task God has given to his hands, while also striving to do what God has laid in her hands to do.
Ton'ja enjoys being a wife and mother, spending time with her family, doing puzzles, dancing and listening to music.
Bishop Todd enjoys teaching and preaching the Word of God, teaching and doing martial arts, spending time with his wife and kids, Ta'naja, Todd Jr., Ayannah, Tayann, and Teon, and producing music. But most of all he enjoys being an instrument for God's use.
Pastor Ton'ja Saunders
Pastor Ton'ja was born on January 19, 1980, in Talbot, Maryland, to Willie Green and Rozalind Brown. Moving to Philadelphia at a young age, she became a product of the school system.
At the age of 11 her parents divorced, which lead her down a dark and destructive path. Being moved back and forth between her mother, father and grandmother, she searched for stability. Around 1994 she found what she was looking for at True Vine Baptist Church where she gave her life to the Lord. She was baptized and joined the choir and drill team.
